Prateek b60db44863 merge: incorporate origin/main (WebSocket refactoring, terminal tests) 
Resolve conflicts:
- status.ts: keep MetadataService-based approach from our branch
- utils.ts: keep pure Node.js readLastLine over tail-based approach
- types.ts: deduplicate readyThresholdMs field from auto-merge
